Obituary: Albert W. Ashdown died this morning at 7 o'clock at the family home at Seeley Creek, aged seventy-seven years. He is survived by his widow; two sons, Grant L. and Bert W.; also six grandchildren. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served in the Twenty-fourth New York Cavalry and was wonded at the Battle of Petersburg, Va. He also was a member of Demming Post, G.A.R. of Millerton, Pa. The funeral will be held at the family home Saturday at 1 pm. Burial in the Webb Mills Cemetery.
