LEBANON -- Richard Leon Boisvert, 68, died Tuesday at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was born in Lebanon, the son of Leon and Gabrielle (Charland) Boisvert. He attended Lebanon schools and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1953. He served in the Army with the 82nd Airborne Division. He worked at his father's oil company, Pete & Rogers in Lebanon, before starting his own business, Dick's Burner Service. He later worked as a journeyman pipefitter and was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 131 for more than 30 years before retiring in 1995. He was a longtime active member of the Knights of Columbus, which he served in various capacities, including grand knight and the Fourth Degree Color Guard. He loved fishing, hunting and working with wood, motors and machinery. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Theresa (Chaisson) Boisvert of Lebanon; three sons, Richard Boisvert Jr. of Concord, Leon Boisvert of Nottingham and John Boisvert of Lebanon; a daughter, Sherry Creighton of West Lebanon; four sisters, Pauline Dubuque of Hillsboro, Patricia Brown of Henniker and Rita Davis and Blanche Bagley, both of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A grandson died previously. Burial, Valley Cemetery.
