She was born in Kemp, Tx but was a long time resident of Grant County.
Mrs. Fleming was a member of the Methodist Church and for many years was very active in the business and professional womens organization and the Eastern Star.
Eva and her husband Les, ranched for many years in this area and later she became the owner and operator of Grant County Title and Abstract Company until her retirement in 1966.
She is survived by a sister, Vera Clayton of Tularosa, two nephews, Jack Carter of Mimbres, Billy Carter of Phoenix, AZ,
two great nephews, Dale Carter of Guymon, Ok. and Les Carter of Los Lunas, NM.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie R. Fleming in 1970.
Graveside Funeral services were held at the Memory Lane Cemetery in Silver City with Mancel Mortencen officiating.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
Arrangements were by the Wheeler Funeral Home of Silver City.
