Ronald was the second child and second son of Robert and Cora Baisley. He was born June 19, 1931 in Pasadena Calif. He was born on his mom Cora's 27th birthday. Ronald died due to a motorcycle accident. He served in the U.S Navy during the Korean War.. He was a graduate of Mark Keppel High School. Class of 1949. Ronald contracted strep throat as a young child. The virus effected his heart, causing him to have an enlarged heart. Ronald enlisted in the Navy after high school. He served for one year, but was medically released due to a possible heart murmur.
Ronald loved riding motorcycles. He was a very careful and contentious rider. On the day of his accident witnesses said Ronald slowly accelerated from the signal, but suddenly sped up lost control and hit a tree. Probably due to the era of the accident and the cause of death being blunt force trauma from the tree, an autopsy was not performed. But speculation is that Ronald might had fainted or got light headed due to his heart problems
At the time of his death he was survived by his parents Bob and Cora Baisley. Older brother Bobbie Baisley, younger sister Lois Brown, Maternal Grandparents Walter and Flora Wiggins, and Paternal grandmother Annie Belle Baisley. Plus numerous cousins, nephews and friends.

Brother Bobbie died Feb. 14 1997 at the age of 73 from colon cancer.
Sister Lois died Aug. 11 2023 at the age of 91
