- Molean McDonald Hayes, age 84, of Monroe, died Thursday, April 6, 2006. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2006 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Lee Peters will officiate. Burial will be at Hill Haven Memorial Gardens, Monroe.
Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, Doc Hayes. She was of the Baptist faith and is survived by daughters Barbara Ivy, Elizabeth Collinsworth, both of Monroe; brother Herschel McDonald, NC; sisters Sara Frances Sheridan, VA, Mildred Childers, NC; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials can made to Abbey Hospice, 215 Azalea Court, Social Circle, Georgia 30025.
