PERRY — Miss Agnes C. Butler, 77, of 167 North Main Street, a retired Perry teacher, died Thursday (February 18, 1965) in Ransomville General Hospital. She had been in declining health for a long time.
Born in Perry April 12, 1887, she was a daughter of Henry C. and Lavina Stephens Butler. She was graduated from the Perry School and from 1918 to 1923 was an office employee in the school. She then entered the old Geneseo Normal School, being graduated in 1926. From that year until she retired in
1957 she taught elementary-grades in Perry. Miss Butler was "a member of Brick Presbyterian Church.
The only immediate survivor is a brother, Dr. Archie Butler of Niagara Falls.
Rev. L. Wayne Barnard of the Presbyterian Church will officiate at a service at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Eaton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Perry Center.
