Orville A. Chartier
The funeral for Orville A. Chartier, 69, 209 East Kirwin, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, the Rev. William Marshall officiating. Burial, with military honors by the V.F.W., will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Mr. Chartier died Monday at Asbury Hospital.
He was born Sept. 25, 1912, in Concordia. A resident of Salina since 1946, he was a retired utility foreman for Kansas Power and Light. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Louella, of the home; one daughter, Janet Hamilton, Davis, Calif.; three sisters, Lucille Taylor, Palm Springs, Calif.; Maxine Miller, Jamestown, and Doris Tully, Englewood, Calif.; one brother, Lawrence, Yakima, Wash., and one grandchild.
Friends may call at the Chapel Funeral Home until noon Wednesday and at the church after 1 p.m.
