STRAFFORD -- Services for Carrie Jane Akin, 95, Strafford, will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Cedar Bluff Baptist church near Fair Grove with Revs. Mitchell Wright and Daniel Kaiser officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Greenlawn North.
Mrs. Akin died at 9 p.m. Wednesday in her home after a short illness.
She was a member of the Cedar Bluff Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Willis, Springfield, Mrs. Alce Snider, Marshfield, and Mrs. Phyllis Henley, Strafford; a brother, Elmer Wiseman, Springfield; six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
