Oct. 23, 1922 - April 14, 2002

Lloyd Slover of Albany died Sunday at his home. He was 79.

He had lived in Lebanon until moving to his most-recent residence in Albany in 1956. He married Jean Marie Weber Aug. 10, 1946, in Scio.

He was a member of the Dever-Conner Community Church where he served as a deacon and on the executive board.

Survivors include his wife; son, Norman of Albany; brothers, Samuel of Portland and Richard and Delmar, both of Salem; sisters, Luella Hawley of Independence and Marie Weigart, Delma Slover and Shirley Sundberg, all of Salem; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Dever Conner Community Church. Private interment will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. Pastor George Vrieze will officiate.

Memorial donations can be made to Dever-Conner Community Church of Evergreen Hospice in care of Fisher Funeral Home, 306 Washington S.W.,
