ACCINNO, JOHN J. died Thursday evening at the RI Hospital. He was the husband of Jean (Richard) Accinno and the late Helena Accinno. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raffael and Clementina (Santillo) Accinno. John was a self-employed CPA and owner of East Side Clinical Laboratory for over 30 years, where he was actively involved in its operation until his recent retirement in 2009. John attained the rank of Tech Sargent in the United States Army while serving his Country during WWII. He graduated from Providence College, where he earned the degree of Bachelor of Science in 1946. He went on to earn his MBA from the University of Rhode Island. In 1994 his Alma Mater, Providence College, honored him with the Degree of Doctor of Business Administration.
Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence.
