Are Held Monday
J. M. Carr, aged 73. retired, 232 Drane avenue, died in Memorial hospital Sunday morning following a brief illness.
A native of Tennessee, he came to Navarro county when one year of age.
Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p. m. from the Corley Chapel with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Blooming Grove.
The rites were conducted bv the Rev. John Wesley Ford, pastor of the First Methodist church.
Surviving: are his wife of Corsicana; a son, Claude Carr, Houston, and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Houston Kent, Rollin Harris, O. D. Bailey, Dewey Grimes, Buna Carr. Fred Ellett, Jr.; James A. Wilkinson, Odie Grimes, James Ellett, and Nowlan Eaton.
