SSG. Alamo was a Mortar Section Sergeant with the Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment and had served his country proudly with two tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq.
His hobbies included playing football, baseball, hunting, fishing, skydiving, motorcycles but his greatest passion was his Mitsubishi Eclipse, "Blue". He will be remembered as a God fearing and generous man.
Graveside services with full military honors were Tuesday, January 31st, at the Salisbury National Cemetery, Rev. Don Vess officiated.
In addition to his parents, SSG. Alamo is survived his wife, Rita H. Rodriguez, of De Ridder, LA; a sister, Angela Alamo, of Hinesville, GA and a step-son, Eli Rodriguez, of De Ridder, LA.
