George Calvin Fritz
Funeral services for George Calvin Fritz, 7-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Fritz, 4408 Fillmore street, who drowned Friday in Half Moon Lake, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Manning's funeral home.
Rev. Wesley Schuldt of Wesley Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery.
George was born March 11, 1939, in Sioux City. He was in senior first grade at Hawthorne school.
Survivors besides the parents are three brothers, Arthur Dale, Earl LeRoy, Glenn Allen; a sister, Erma Jean, and a grandfather, Millard Barnes, all of Sioux City.
George Calvin Fritz was the son of Mildred Martha Barnes and William Bryan Jennings Fritz. George drowned during a family picnic at Half Moon Lake in Sioux City, Iowa.
