Benjamin Pate, aged farmer
of Conway, dies
Benjamin W. Pate, 86, of Conway died Monday (Nov. 12, 1973) at Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Pate was born Feb. 19, 1887, in the Centervile comunity and lived in Faulkner County all his life. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are Three sons. Elligah and Ruben Pate, both of North Little Rock, and Carlos Pate of Conway, six daughters, Mrs. Hattie Fausett, Mrs.Dolly Morris and Mrs. Viva Casey all of North Little Rock, Mrs. Maudie Gray of Conway, Mrs. Vera Mobbs of Vilonia and Mrs. Maedene Estep of Enola; three sisters Mrs. Mollie Pearce and Mrs. Vina Ruple of Conway and Mrs Norma McCaig of Ravenden, 35 grandchildren, 79 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Wenesday at McNutt Chapel, The Rev. Wilbun Harris officiated and burial was in Marcus Hill Cemetery near Enola.
Pallbearers were Eugene Pate, William Gray, Virgil Gist, Jimmy Morris, Douglas Casey and Billy Owen Fausett.
