Bernice J. Bayer, 86, of Columbia died Thursday at her home. Mrs. Bayer was a native of Hooper, Neb., and had lived in Columbia for 11 years. She was a homemaker and member of Community Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Anita Kerkling of Mariposa, Leland Bayer of Columbia and Shirley Cameron of Reno, Nev.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Wednesday. 1_A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Terzich & Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Sonora. Private burial will take place at Mt. Shadow Cemetery.
