Minnie Alfa Bates, 90 years of age, was born on December 13, 1900, in Weeping Water, the daughter of William and Emma Hanes Bates. At the time of her death, February 19, 1991 Minnie was living at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse.
Minnie was a homemaker. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, two brothers and six sisters.
Services were February 22 at the Weeping Water United Methodist Church, 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Lincoln Justice officiating.
