Mrs. Jennie L. Potts, wife of J.W. Potts, a foreman at the Lumbermen's Portland Cement Plant at Carlyle, died last night about 7 o'clock from perforation of the bowels following a siege of typhoid fever. The funeral will occur at the residence tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock, with Rev. John Price in charge. The body will be taken to White City Cemetery for burial. The family came to Iola from White City about two years ago. The deceased laves a husband and four children.
