B. Nov 5, 1793, son of John Taylor and Agnes (Nancy) Archibald. He married Margaret Fisher, daughter of William Fisher and Mary Whidden. Margaret was first married to Matthew Harkness at a young age, and had two children, John Harkness, b. 1818, and Mary Ann, b. 1820. She married Matthew in 1827, and had James George, (who left Nova Scotia and lived in Australia)Ebenezer, Wentworth, Isaac, Eliza, Rebecca, and possibly more. There is a history of seafarers within that branch of the Taylors.
