D. Paul Scherrer ("Uncle Paul," as I knew him), was the eldest son of Reverend Daniel Paul Scherrer, Sr. He grew up in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The city directories note that he was an office clerk and his obituary mentions that he was an accountant for the Internal Revenue Service. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lillian Frances Scherrer ("Aunt Frances"). My mother, Ruth Victoria Scherrer Davis was Uncle Paul's youngest sister.
