"Mother Cook" is on the tombstone.

Louisa lived with her son Benjamin Cook in the 1860, 1870, 1880 and 1900 censuses of Jefferson and Marion Counties. Death obviously came after 1900.

Louisa seems to have brought her family from Pennsylvania (located there in 1850 census) to Jefferson County by 1860. Her husband, Richard Cook, was born in 1797 in Pennsyvlania, according to the 1850 census. Richard is gone by 1860, when the family is in Illinois.

Louisa has as many as five children with her on census entries.
