SHIRLEY - Daniel P. Kunelius, 35, of 8 Going Road, an automotive mechanic, died Friday in Deaconess-Nashoba Hospital, Ayer, after he was stricken ill at home.
He leaves his mother, Augusta M. (Pike) Kunelius of Shirley, with whom he lived; a sister, Pauline Braaten of West Plain, Mo.; an uncle; and an aunt. He was born in Fitchburg, son of Arthur K. Kunelius, and lived here most of his life. His father died in 1993. He graduated from Ayer High School.
Mr. Kunelius was an automotive mechanic.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Shirley Funeral Home, 6 Harvard Road. Burial will be in South Cemetery, Lunenburg. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
