On Sept. 8, 1903 at Fayetteville, Arkansas [AR Marriage Rec.], Enos m. Mary Lou "Lula May" Hastings, b. Dec. 8, 1882 at the Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory, now Oklahoma. She d. May 24, 1972 at Oklahoma City, OK and is interred at Fayetteville, AR. They had no known children.

• Enos Henry Eads, 55, was born at Harris, Arkansas, December 14, 1880. Mr. Eads was 55 years, 10 months, and three days of age at the time of his death. He was widely known as an architect, and acquired many friends in Collingsworth County, due to work he accomplished here, and to relatives who reside here. He moved to Wellington in 1908 from Oklahoma.
• He was an architect by profession and had charge of the construction of a large number of buildings in this vicinity. He drew the plans for and supervised the construction of the first high school building on the south side of the town section. The building was later destroyed by fire, but was on the same location which serves the present high school building. He also built the upper story of the Wellington Hotel, and a number of other buildings here, and in this section, including the Wheeler County court house.
• He established his headquarters in Chickasha [Grady County, Oklahoma] 12 years ago and worked out of that city, until two years ago, when he went with the federal government as a government engineer. For the past few months he has had charge of the federal projects in the vicinity of Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
• He had a wide range of acquaintances among business men of Wellington and visited here at frequent intervals. Mr. Eads was visiting his mother here at the time he was stricken ill. He passed away at a local hospital, and was laid to rest beside his father in the Wellington Cemetery.
• He is survived by his wife, Mrs. E. H. Eads of Tahlequah, Okla.; his mother, Mrs. William Eads of Wellington; brothers and sisters: Mrs. Fred Walker of Aberdeen, Mrs. W. T. Grant of Mustang, Okla.; B. F. Eads of Texline, Texas; R. T. Eads and W. A. Eads of Wellington.
