CO.29 163RD DEPOT BRIGADE..DIED IN SERVICE,WWI,LISTED ON INDIANA GOLD STAR HONOR ROLL....Evan Porter Patton died at Camp Dodge,IA,Oct.14,1918 after being sick for a week with influenza which devoloped into pneumonia. He was inducted into service on Aug.31,1918 and had been in military training but 4 weeks when he became ill. He was married Sept.5,1917 to Miss Allie Imel.
