Ruth K. Jones, of Chattanooga, TN went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 28, 2012.
Mrs. Jones was a longtime member of Memorial Baptist Tabernacle. She always wore a smile and never complained.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Jones; parents, Carl and Annie Kiser; sister, Maida Millican and brothers, Bob, Claude, Lon and Carl Kiser Jr.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Edna Jones; four grandchildren, Erica (Chris) Melton, Trevor Jones, Chad (Tara) Denton, Keri (Kevin) Crowden; four great-grandchildren, Brayden, Daniel, Eli and Clayton; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2012, in the chapel of the funeral home with her grandson, the Rev. Chad Denton officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. today, January 30, 2012, at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN.
