The funeral of W. T. Hawken, run over by a logging train Saturday evening at Bordeaux Junction, will be held at the Catholic church under the direction of Father Mally sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment will be in Calvary cemetery. The arrangement was made for Sunday at the request of workmen at the Bordeaux mill, who wish to come in for the funeral.

Hawken has no relatives in the vicinity. A sister lives in Australia and a brother is serving in the British army. Hawken, who was yard foreman at the mill went to Bordeaux Junction Saturday evening to check up some cars for the next day's work. No one saw him fall.

The man had worked at the mill for six years, stood high in the estimation of his employers, and was popular with the men. He had been in correspondence with the British consul at Seattle and was trying to get into the British army but was barred by physical disability. He was 35 years of age, and was born in Ireland.
