Ann Dorsam
Ann Dorsam, 97, Miller's Merry Manor, died at 3:45 a.m. today, Sept. 9, 1987, at Miller's Merry Manor.
She was born Sept 19, 1889, in Lafayette to Nicholas and Johanna Boone Haan. She married Joseph Dorsam. He died in 1936.
Surviving are two sons, Robert and Lawrence, both of Peru; three daughters, Rosie Becker of Peru, Mary Yentes of Fort Wayne, and Frances Nicloai of Burke, Va.; two sisters, Elizabeth Hamilton of Portland, Ore. and Isabelle Hamilton of Salt Lake City, Utah; 19 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Dorsam was a member of Daughters of Isabella and the Altar and Rosary Society.
She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church where services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. George Plaster officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Elkenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7.
