Kasidy Rae(Kasi) Hart, l6, Americus, KS, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 as a result of an auto accident north of Americus, KS.
Kasi was born in Emporia, KS on March 18, 1994, the daughter of Steven G. Hart and Amie L Germann Hart.
Surviving family members include her parents: Amie Hart, Americus, KS; Steven Hart, Emporia , KS; Brother Matthew (Matt) Hart, Americus, KS. and her grandparents: Philip and Linda Germann, Emporia, KS, and Richard Hart, Emporia, KS, and Hazel Hart, Wichita, KS.
She was a junior at Northern Heights High School in Allen, KS. She had been a cheerleader in 7th and *h grade in the Americus School. Kasi played clarinet five years, also at Americus and played both soccer and softball in Americus for four years.
She enjoyed drawing and had won awards for some of her art work.
Funeral service will be held at the First Methodist Church,
Emporia, KS Wed., Sept., 15, 2010 at 3:00p.m. The service will be conducted by Pastor Gina Gile, Americus United Methodist Church and Pastor Nancy Gammil, First Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Cottonwood Cemetery, west of Emporia.
