Gloria Carlson, 77, of Hermantown, died Thursday, April 29, 2004, in St. Mary's Medical Center.
She was born on Aug. 15, 1926 in Elcho, Wis., to Robert and Josephine (Blodgett) Bauer.
Gloria was an Educational Asst. at Homecroft Elementary School, for many years until retired. Her two passions in life were teaching children and serving God. She was a long time member of Gethsemane Covenant Church.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William in 1998; and her brothers, Robert and Lee Bauer.
She is survived by her son, Peter (Karla) of Forest Lake, Minn.; grandchildren, Anthony and Danielle; sister, Joyce Kieslich of Elcho, Wis. ; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery.
