Miss Madeline V. Bast, 1841 Columbia Road, Washington, D.C., died at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Thursday morning. Born at Boonsboro, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Sue (Fletcher) Bast.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Boonsboro and had been employed for a number of years by the law firm of Goodwin, Rosenbaum, Beacham and White in Washington, D.C.
She is survived by sisters, Mrs. E.G. Miller and Mrs. Gwen Miller; two brothers, John H. and Gerald D. Bast, all of Boonsboro.
The funeral will be held on Sunday with services at the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro at 2 p.m. by the Rev. George S. Bowden. Entombment will be made in the Boonsboro Mausoleum.
