About 1896 Edward married his first wife, Emma Comley, and they had one daughter, Elizabeth. Emma died in Feb 1912 and in July of the same year Edward married his second wife Nora Finley Shelton. They had one son, Edward. For many years Edward was a carpenter. He died of chronic myocarditis.
