Patrick Eugene Slater, 53, of 1031 Johnston Ave., Kittanning, formerly of Chicora, died at 7:15 p.m. yesterday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning (PA), after an illness.
Born in Chicora, February 8, 1927, he was the son of Joseph and the late Blanche Shook Slater. His wife, Sarah K. Ritzert Slater, died in January 1972.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Anthony (Judy) Pezzimenti of Danbury, Conn; two sons, Richard Slater of Washington State, and Raymond Slater of Long Island, NY; two grandchilcren; his father, Joseph Slater of Snyder Nursing Home, Emlenton; and two brothers, Clayton Slater of Parker and Russell of Franklin.
Three brothers preceded him in death.
Friends of Patrick Eugene Slater, who died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1980, will be received Friday and Saturday. Burial will be in West Hampton Beach Cemetery, Long Island, NY
