She was married to Guy Ransbottom on Jan. 1, 1964, in Las Vegas, Nev. She enjoyed creating hand drawn greeting cards, bookmarks, and knitting hats for newborn babies at the hospital. She has lovingly made almost 900 baby hats in the last few years. She greatly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a faithful member of Paseo Community Church and then later of The Good Shepherd Church, both in Camarillo.
She entered through the gates of glory and into the arms of her Savior on Jan. 31, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert, Orrin and Sam Auerswald. She is survived by her husband, Guy; her three children, Sandra Grant, Cathy Taylor and Robert Vaughan; along with seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
Services will be held at Good Shepherd Church at 380 Arneill Rd., Camarillo, CA 93010, at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3.
