A native of Amarillo, Texas, she had resided in Putnam County for 37 years
coming from Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was a homemaker, a former member of
the Palatka Woman's Club and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church
where she had been active in the Methodist Women. An avid golfer, she had been
a member of the Palatka Women's Golf Association.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William R. Fiddelke; son, Thomas
Fiddelke of West Palm beach; two daughters, Karen Towell of Bowling Green,
Kentucky and Laura Hall of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and eight grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2002, at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home
of Palatka with the Rev. Hardy B. Sandlin, III officiating. Visitation will be
from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home of Palatka is in charge of the arrangements.
