Born the second of six children to John Kidd Marlin & Mary Ann Harrop. He married Viola May Spicer on March 30, 1907, in Philadelphia. Thomas was a pipefitter and plumber his entire working life. He and Viola lived in Philadelphia until sometime in the 1920's when they moved to 409 Clymer Avenue in Morrisville, Bucks County, PA, which is where they lived when he died. He and Viola had no children.
