Edward R. Krasnesky of Mount Prospect since 1956. Edward Krasnesky was the beloved husband of Marian Krasnesky; loving father of R. Ted (Jan) Krasnesky, Jeffrey (Nancy) Krasnesky and Rick (fiancee Nancy Vigna) Krasnesky; devoted grandfather of Kristin, Kelly, Karla, Laura and Tina, Evelyn and Karl; fond great-grandfather of nine; and dear brother of Katherine Broehl, Russell Krasnesky, Margaret Ann Baggett and Terry Sweeny. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings.

Born July 22, 1927, in St. Louis, Mo., at rest Jan. 5, 2012, at home. Mr. Krasnesky was a World War II Army veteran assigned to the 53rd MP Company in Bad Nauheim, Germany. He was a Boy Scout leader for Troop 157 from 1956 to 1981, and the recipient of the Wood Badge award and proud father of three Eagle Scouts. He was a devoted member of the St. Cecilia Choir, and a retired customer engineer from IBM Corporation with 35 years of service, earning three service awards from IBM.
