He was a Boy Scout leader for Troop 157 from 1956 to 1981, and the recipient of the Wood Badge award and proud father of three Eagle Scouts. He was a devoted member of the St. Cecilia Choir, and a retired customer engineer from IBM Corporation with 35 years of service, earning three service awards from IBM.
