William King-6 Skolfield (Benjamin-5, Benjamin-4, Jacob-3, Thomas-2,Thomas-1) was born 1 April 1891 in Portland, Oregon; married, first, Dorothy Margaret Robinson, daughter of Dr. Lewis Taylor Robinson and Mary Edith
Conner, on 1 July 1922 in Schenectady, New York; married, second, Betty May Ellis, daughter of John Wesley Ellis and Irene Rebecca Sanborn, on 24 May 1958 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He died 13 February 1985 and was buried in
Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield, Connecticut.
William King Skolfield graduated from Leland Stanford, Jr. University, 1915, with a degree in electrical engineering. He was employed by General Electric Company from 1915 to 1957 in the Fan Motor Department.
He was the state president Connecticut Sons of the American Revolution, 1960-61; a member of the Society of Colonial Wars, Founders & Patriots, and Scottish Rite Shrine, Bridgeport, Connecticut. Dorothy Margaret Robinson was born 23 January 1895 in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania; died
5 March 1957 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and was buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield, Connecticut.
She was a graduate of New York State College in 1918 and taught in Chester, New York, for three
years and in Johnstown, New York, for one year.
She was a member of the Art League, Southport Women's Club, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. The children of William King-6 Skolfield and Dorothy Margaret Robinson were:

1. Edith Ann7 Skolfield was born 7 June 1925; married William Francis Powers.

2. Louise Gregg Skolfield was born 24 July 1928; married Harrison Clark Cornish.
