Jewel Aaron, age 90, formerly of the Glensfork Community, died Wednesday, April 9, 1997, at the South Haven Nursing Home in Montgomery, Alabama.

She was born to Odus Antle and Lula Hayes Antle, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sam Aaron; one daughter, Clarice Grant(memorial 57811699); one son-in-law, the Rev. Coolidge Grant.

Mrs. Aaron is survived by one daughter, Janice Aaron of Montgomery, Alabama; three grandchildren, the Rev. Bobby Grant of Albany, David Grant of Floyd Knobs, Indiana and Douglas Grant of Owensboro; and five great grandchildren.

Other survivors include one brother, William Antle of Jamestown; one sister, Nettie Jane Aaron of Cincinnati, Ohio. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Mrs. Aaron was a homemaker and a member of the Glensfork Church of the Nazarene.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 13, 1997 at 2 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Hoots and the Rev. Steve Davis officiating.

Pallbearers were Mike Aaron, Dennis Aaron, Robin Grant, Chad Grant, Danny Skaggs, Brad Conover, Mark Antle, Jimmy Dale Bledsoe and Bill Aaron.

Interment was in the Ragan Cemetery in Glensfork.
