Born Dec. 13, 1906 in Iron Mountain to George and Ann Conley Burdett, he grew up in the Missoula area and married Mae Simmert here on June 15, 1926.
He lived in Logan for 45 years before returning to Missoula in 1985. He moved to Ogden eight months ago.
Mr. Burdett was a transport driver for Northern Pacific and Burlington Northern Transport Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1971.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Three Forks and the Teamsters union. He received many safe-driving awards.
Survivors include his wife, Ogden; three sons, Lawrence P., San Diego; Robert M., Three Forks; and J. Joseph, Ogden; a daughter, Joan Curtis, Billings; a sister, Myrtle Ashenbrenner, Missoula; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Sept. 25 in Ogden. Cremation followed under the direction of Larkin and Sons Mortuary.
