Mr. Worley died in Northern Virginia Doctor's Hospital in Arlington, VA. He was the son of Clarence and Bessie (Shoap) Worley of Carlisle, PA. Mr. Worley was active in the Masons and enjoyed dressing as a clown and entertaining at parades and activities.
At the time of death he was married to Mary E. Worley. He was survived by two step-children: Robert A. Cutting and Judith J. Childress; and three sisters: Violet Stimeling of Florida, Evelyn Gleim, Miriam Minnick and Pauline Worley of Carlisle, PA.
Services were held at the Ives Funeral Home, Arlington, VA. Interment in Columbia Gardens Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Contributions may be made to the Masonic Crippled Children's Home, or the Charity of your choice.
A special communication of Macon Ware Lodge #192, A. F. & A. M. was held Nov. 8, 1973, to conduct Masonic Services for the late Brother Paul Mervin Worley at Ives Funeral Home. James M McDonough, W. M., Perry W. Shepherd, Sec.

Mr. Worley's first wife was Betty Heckman of Mechanicsburg, PA. They had one daughter, Patsy.
His second wife was Phyllis Estelle (Smith) Diezel. They married Dec. 31, 1950 and divorced September 1957.
He married Mary Elizabeth (Barnett) Cutting on August 13, 1960.
The cemetery office personnel said the stone is a white military stone that was later turned over to accommodate his wife's details.
