Per her death certificate: aged 64 yrs 6 mos. She was widowed. Place of death: Pine Hill. Exact location of burial site unknown, as no headstone exists. A wooden cross was constructed and placed in 2015.
Per 1855 NY state census: Born in Pennsylvania. She is the "sister" of Elijah C.,(meaning "sister in-law") Married to Elisha P. January ...1854.

Per the Amherst Bee newspaper January 2, 1890: "Cheektowaga Chat. December 28, 1889 - Mrs. Fanny Adams died Sunday morning (Dec. 22) very suddenly with heart disease. She had been in poor health since her husband's death, four weeks ago. She leaves two sons, one daughter and two sisters to mourn her loss."
Per the Amherst Bee newspaper January 16, 1890: January 13, 1890: "Mrs. Fanny Adams was buried last Saturday afternoon. (Dec 28)The remains had been kept all the week in hopes that her son, William, of Arkansas, might be present at the burial. He arrived on Saturday evening, a few hours too late. The funeral was held at the family residence and was very largely attended."
Per the Amherst Bee newspaper January 30,1890: "Cheektowaga January 25, 1890. Mr. William Adams has returned to his home in Arkansas. Mr. & Mrs. John Burger of Buffalo, have moved onto the Adam's farm. Mrs. Burger is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adams, lately deceased. Mr. Burger will continue the milk business."

William H. b.1860 (of Arkansas, as his uncle Elijah C. also removed to there)

The Adams were early settlers. Elijah C.(died in Arkansas) and his brother Elisha P. were farmers, purchased 170 acres of lot #25 on April 21, 1835. Their property / estate was located on the SE corner of what is now Genesee St. and Harlem Rd. Adams Road eventually was renamed Harlem Road. They were proprietors of a distillery and had a brickyard here.
