Port Huron-Bruce Oliver, 58, died Wednesday, May 10, 1989.
In Mercy Hospital.
He was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Port Huron and was a lifelong area resident. He married Barbra Warner, Jan. 3, 1949.
He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sandy) Smith, Mrs Clarence (Marsha) Miller, and Mrs. William (Deborah) Briggs all of Port Huron and Mrs. Ed (Dianne) Healy of Dryden; three sons, Rick (Donna) Oliver, Dale Oliver and Randall (Brenda) Oliver all of Port Huron. 12 grandchildren; his mother Viola Oliver also of Port Huron; three brothers ; Jack (Carolyn) Oliver of South Haven, Paul (Fern) Oliver of San Antonio, Texas and Sylvester (Patty) Oliver of South Carolina; a sister Mrs. Stanley (Carolyn) Lash of Marysville; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ethel Wudorski of Marysville, Jane Pickelhaupt and June Parker both of Port Huron; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Scott Keith Oliver, father George Oliver and a brother Walt Oliver.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Arthur Smith Funeral Home-South Capel, a Guardian Plan Chapel. The Rev. Jack Oliver, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
