Jennie Butler was born in May, 1876. She married William Brown in 1890,at the age of 15. The couple lived with her parents on Cayuga St. in Homer until around 1897(?), when they moved into their own home, just a few houses away, on William St. By 1900 they had 4 children: Louis 8, Ella 6, Willie 3, and Edith 1. In the 1905 NYS census Jennie's 3 children (Louis, William, & Edith) are with their grandparents, Melvin & Ellen Butler; Louis Brown remained with his Grandpa Melvin for the rest of his life.
Jennie and William are buried in Glenwood.
