Gerald R. Pilgreen, 71, of Texarkana, TX passed away February 6, 2012 at his home. Mr. Pilgreen was born July 18, 1940 in Fouke, AR. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force; and a member of Eylau Hills Baptist Church. He was a loving father, grandfather, and loved family and fishing.
Mr. Pilgreen was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Anvik; and a brother, Jimmy Pilgreen.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Harrison of Texarkana, TX; sister, Betty Luthe of Gillette, WY; brothers, Timmy Pilgreen of Texarkana, AR, Bobby Pilgreen of Texarkana, TX and John Pilgreen of Atlanta, TX; numerous grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will 2 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Fouke Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the funeral home.
