John P. Clary served as a Texas Ranger in John Henry Brown's Ranging Company, 1859. He was one of the men from Bell County who guarded our frontier. He helped remove Chief Logan and the Comanche Indians from their Texas Reservations on the Brazos near Ft. Belknap and at Camp Cooper to Ft. Cobb, Indian Territory.
