James P. Hart, 58, of Rt. 3, Syracuse, died Saturday in Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, where he was admitted on August 8 after being ill two months. He was born in Ligonier on June 25, 1925, and moved to Syracuse from Goshen seven years ago. He was employed at Maple Leaf Farms in Milford. Surviving are four sisters: Nellie Hart of Valentine, June Hart of Elkhart, and Dorothy and May of South Bend; a brother Delbert of Dunlap; and his housekeeper of 22 years, Florine Call. Services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday in the Yoder Culp Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Whitledge, assistant at First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery.
