Ray was the son of Samuel Joseph and Mary Elizziebeth Whitworth Sebree. He married Vera Nadine James, July 28, 1923 in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. They had two boys, one adopted.

Ray J. Sebree, 65, of Harrisonville, brother of Earl I. Sebree of Route 6, Died yesterday morning at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Harrisonville. He had been ill for a short time.

A former city marshall and deputy sheriff at Harrisonville, he was serving as state registrar at the time of his death.

Survivors, in addition to his brother, include his widow, a son, Bobby Joe Sebree, and a grandson, Jimmy Ray Sebree, all of Harrisonville; a sister, Mrs. H. O. Adams, Lee's Summit; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Runnenburger's Funeral Home in Harrisonville at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery there.
