Born January 18, 1913 in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Clarence and Leah Snyder Schildt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Glenn Bowman, April 15, 1988.
She was a homemaker and farmer.
She was a member of Beaver Creek Christian Church.
She is survived by one grandson, Mark A. Bowman of Mt. Lena, Md.
She was preceded in death by one son, Harold E. Bowman; one grandson; one sister and four brothers.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 22 at Boonsboro Cemetery. The Rev. J. Mark Curran will officiate.
