Ruth ABBOTT HALL, 96, St. Paul Retirement Community, South Bend, formerly of Fulton, died early this morning at St. Paul's. Arrangements are pending at Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, Rochester.

Ruth E. Abbott Hall, Sept. 26, 1900-Feb. 28, 1997, Ruth E. ABBOTT HALL, 96, St. Paul Retirement Community, South Bend, formerly, of Fulton, died at 12:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Retirement Community. Born in Hoopeston, Ill., to Othal and Mina WOOD INSLEY, she married William J. ABBOTT in November, 1932, in Fulton. He died in 1967, She the married Delmar HALL in November, 1979, in Bradenton, Fla. He died in 1993. She was a homemaker. She Is survived by three daughters Mrs. Eldon (Betty) LEEDY, Fremont, Mrs. Tom (Norma) FAULKNER, Warsaw, Mrs. Margie MUCKENFUSS, Logansport; four sons Lawrence CRAIN, Williford, Ark., Robert CRAIN, Oklahoma, Bill ABBOTT, Rochester, Don ABBOTT, LaPaz; two stepdaughters Mrs. Orpha OVERMYER, Warsaw, Mrs. Opal CUTLER, Sebring, Fla.; one stepson, Alvin ABBOTT, Warsaw; 30 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one son Jim ABBOTT, one stepdaughter, three stepsons and one sister. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. David McGEE officiating. Burial will be in the Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 12 p.m. Monday until the hour of services.
