Born in Palombara Sabina, province of Rome, Italy, daughter of the late John and Madeline(Paluzzi)Abbondanza, she came to the U.S. when she was 11 years old and lived in Beverly for the past 83 years. She was a member of St.Mary Star of the Sea Parish.
Survivors includea son, Reynold J. Abbondanza of Beverly; a daughter, Victoria E. Abbondanza of Beverly; 12 grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Florence Pimenta and Anthony Richard Abbondanza. Her husband, Stephen Abbondanza died in 1931.
Funeral from Campbell Funeral Home on Monday, followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. Burial in St. Marys Cemetery, Beverly.
