FRUITA- Ervin F. Strahan, 56, of Loma, died of a heart attack at 3am Sunday in Lower Valley Hospital. Mr. Strahan was born on March 2, 1917 in Mittie, LA, where he spent his childhood.
He married Lucille Escoubas at Lake Charles, LA on May 6, 1964. She Survives. He was previously married to Ola Mae Smith; who preceeded him in death. Mr Strahan was a lifelong resident of Louisiana before coming to Loma four years ago. He was a world War II Navy veteran and a member of the Hebrews Baptist Church in Oberlin LA.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Len Hulslander of Loma; Mrs. Willard Matheson of Bagley MN; Mrs. Herberie Funderburk of Houston, TX; and Mrs. Jimmy Campbell of Halsy, OR. Also surviving are two sons, Travis of Mittie, LA and Oliver of Longview, WA., three brothers, two sisters, and 20 grandchildren. Services and burial will be in Mittie.
